Quilt & Stitch Workshop Policies
- Online payment are processed securely by PayPal. You do not need sign up for a PayPal account and may simply pay with your credit card. We do not store your credit/debit card details (in fact, we never see your credit/debit card details) and we will not share your contact details with anyone. If you wish to remove a workshop from your shopping basket, simply type "0" in the "QTY" box and click "Update." If you experience any technical difficulties signing up online, simply call Quilt & Stitch at 613-389-2223 or 1-800-207-5417 during business hours and we would be happy to register you over the phone.
- Payment in full (workshop fee plus HST) is required at the time of registration. Please note: certain workshops may also require you to purchase a pattern and/or materials kit in addition to your registration fee. Sharing or photocopying patterns is not permitted.
- Register early to avoid disappointment. Sometimes people wait until the last minute to register for a workshop. We need a minimum number of students to cover our costs. To avoid inconvenience to those who are registered, we must cancel under-subscribed classes one week before the start date. A full refund will be made if the class is cancelled.
- Registration fees are fully refundable up to 14 days prior to the scheduled workshop. If it is necessary for you to cancel after that date, an in-store credit will be issued for cancellations up to 48 hours BEFORE the scheduled time of the workshop. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop. However, you may send another person in your place.
- Requirement sheets and pre-cutting instructions (if required) will be available for pick up 2 weeks before the class.
- Although we don't require you to purchase all of your workshops supplies from us, we appreciate your support. You will receive a 20% discount on any fabric, pattern, or notion purchased for a class and a 10% discount on books.
- Please bring your sewing machine to class, unless otherwise indicated, in good working order.
- Bring your basic sewing or quilting supplies to all classes. This includes: pins, scissors, a seam ripper, pencil, paper, thread, ruler (or tape measure) and rotary cutter. (We have cutting mats for you to use).
